We only read what any visitor can see in the store.
How it works
- Enter the store address. mystore.myshopify.com or your own domain both work.
- The tool reads the store's public product list and a sample of product pages. It does not log in and changes nothing.
- You get the number of products, how many titles are too long, how many have no description and a list of the first ones.
What the tool does not read
- Password-protected stores. They cannot be read from outside.
- Products that are not published.
- How the titles rank in Google. You see that in Google Search Console.
Common questions
- What does the tool read in my store?
- The product list any visitor can open (address/products.json) and a sample of the product pages. The tool does not log in and changes nothing in the store. A password-protected store cannot be read.
- How long can a product title be in Google?
- Around 60 characters. The real limit is in pixels, so it is approximate. What comes after is cut in the search result.
- Is it free?
- Yes, with no account and no card. You can run three checks per day.
