Frase is one of very few tools that, like Tedrix, closes the loop on content decay: it watches your pages through Google Search Console, drafts a refresh when one slips, and can publish the approved result. If you are choosing between the two, the differences below are the ones that actually matter. We have tried to be fair; where Frase is the better choice, we say so.

Where the two agree
Both connect to Search Console, detect pages losing clicks, draft the fix with AI, and apply it to WordPress after a human says yes. Both hold a brand voice so drafts do not read like generic AI text. If your only question is "can it find and fix decay", both answer yes, and that alone puts them ahead of the optimizer tools that stop at recommendations.
The differences that matter
- Monitoring scope on the entry plan. Frase's starter tier monitors a small, fixed number of pages on its content-guard feature, per their published pricing at the time of writing. Tedrix watches your whole site on every plan, the free one included, because decay rarely starts on the pages you chose to watch.
- Where you approve. In Frase you approve inside the app. Tedrix sends the drafted fix to your inbox and one click approves it, no dashboard visit needed. For an owner who lives in email rather than in SEO tools, that difference decides whether fixes actually ship.
- Rollback. Tedrix applies changes through a WordPress plugin that saves every change as a native revision, and one click reverts it, including the SEO plugin fields. Check what the undo story is in any tool that writes to your site; it matters most on the day something goes wrong.
- Proof. Tedrix goes back about four weeks after every applied fix and records what happened to the page's clicks and position. You see per fix whether it worked. That closed measurement loop is, to our knowledge, still unique.
- Swedish. Tedrix is built Swedish-first with idiomatic Swedish drafts. Frase is an English-first product.
When Frase is the better choice
If you produce a lot of new content, Frase is the stronger tool: briefs, search-result research and article generation are its core, and it publishes to more platforms than WordPress. Tedrix does not write new articles; it keeps what you already have alive. A content team shipping twenty posts a month has a real case for Frase, or for both.
