Find duplicates

Enter your address and we read your sitemap and show which pages clash with each other.

Why duplicates cost you visitors

When two pages share a title, Google cannot tell which one to show for a search. The result is that both are shown rarely instead of one being shown often. The pages compete with each other rather than with your competitors.

It almost always happens by accident. A product lands in two categories, a blog post is copied as a template, a filter creates its own address. Nobody chooses to do it, which is exactly why nobody spots it either.

It is invisible when you look at one page at a time, which is how most people review a site. The fault exists only in the comparison between pages, and nobody does that by hand once a site passes a couple of dozen pages.

What the tool does and does not do

  • We read your sitemap and then up to 60 pages from it. If you have more, you get a sample rather than the whole site.
  • Without a sitemap we cannot read the pages automatically. Most systems put one at /sitemap.xml without you doing anything.
  • We only read the title and description from the page source. Nothing is stored, and we never log which address you entered.

Tedrix runs the same check across your whole site every week, and rewrites what needs changing on top of that.
